Pythons

Pythons are constrictors that are commonly found in Africa, Asia, and Australia. The Python family includes the longest snake in the world, the Reticulated Python, of which some species can reach 35 ft long. Among the smaller of the species is the Ball Python, great for a first pet snake due to it's easy care. The life span of Pythons range between 12-90 years varying greatly between the 26 different species. Pythons reproduce by laying 2-100 eggs. Pythons feed on rodents until they reach larger sizes at which point they require a larger food source. Some of the most beautiful snakes in the world include tree pythons, ranging in a variety of colors, including a striking emerald green. Specialty color varieties of Pythons are highly valued.
