Colubrids

Colubrid is a broad classification of snakes that includes almost two thirds of all snake species. Found in almost every habitat these snakes come in a variety of colors and sizes. In the U.S. the most common of these snakes are king snake, corn snake and rat snake varieties. This type of snake also includes the slender insect eating vine snake. Lengths, sizes, lifespans, and colors are extremely varied.
